The sand bags will weigh approximately 60 pounds each, once you have filled them. The feet are approximately 4 feet from each other. Each foot is approximately 30 inches long and can be extended an additional 12-15 inches. This stand is perfect for home use because it is small and the base is triangular, so you can place it in a corner, and then the legs would go near the sides of the walls and the bag is pushed toward you about 3 feet away from the stand post. This would provide a good amount of space for all the kicks.
