A Brazilian martial arts fighterMixed Martial Arts (MMA) was killed Monday night in front of his wife and son in the metropolitan region of Belem, in the state of Pará (northern Brazil).
Adriano Sylberth Santana Pereira, 29 years old and known professionally as Mamutewas shot and stabbed several times inside his home, where he was with his family, as reported to local media by the Civil Police.
According to the same sources, three armed men entered the wrestler's house through the back door before midnight on Monday and shot Mamute, for reasons still unknown.
The victim was shot in the facebut when the killers realized that he had not died, several stab wounds were inflicted on himdas in the chest in front of his wife and nine-year-old son, who were unharmed.
