Daniel Puertas Gallardo was born in Malaga on December 1, 1992.
It is the elder of two brothers and his other brother's name is Javier.

As a child practiced Judo for a few years and then dedicated himself to soccer.

"I think buying gloves is affordable for a lot of people but if you can't afford it come to my gym and we'll leave you some there." he said with a smile.
"To the kids who are starting out I would say that if you really like something and you really want something you can achieve whatever you set your mind to, you just have to be consistent and have discipline." Daniel advised the new kick boxing generation.
He also expressed his opinion regarding people who define contact sports as violent, "I would tell them to do a little research and train for a week in any gym and I'm sure it will change their concept".
Daniel Puertas Gallardo, shares his time between the routine of knowledge and training.
He is currently studying for a degree in Physical Education.
Although he has always participated in competitions, even in the amateur category, he confesses that the next fight in China, at the Kulun Fight Tournament is very important and with great fighters.
"The date of the event is May 13 and all the fighters are good, the match is really challenging," Puertas noted.
