Less than two weeks away from fighting Kerman Lejarraga for the European Welterweight title, Bradley Skeete spoke to the British channel BoxNation about the fight that will take place on April 28 at the Bilbao Arena. The London boxer was very convinced of his chances, giving for sure his victory against the fighter from Morga. The privileged position of \"The Revolver\" in the WBA world rankings seems to be the main incentive for Skeete, who is looking forward to face the winner of the fight to be held on July 14 in Malaysia between the Filipino Manny Pacquiao and the Argentine Lucas Matthyse.
\n\"I see this fight as a stepping stone to the future. I will beat him and take his place in the WBA rankings, where I am not ranked. Matthysse has the title and will fight Manny Pacquiao. I want to face the winner of that fight!\" said Skeete, who made no reference to his next opponent.
\nThe British rider's latest statements have not gone down well with Kerman Lejarraga's team, which has always acted with respect towards its opponents. \"It's already several occasions in which they despise us, and they are selling the bear's skin before hunting it. Kerman is dedicated to training to offer his best version on April 28, the fans will support him in this historic event,\" said Txutxi Del Valle, trainer of the Basque boxer.
