Mike Tyson's surprise announcement <\/strong><\/h1>\n

After a long time, one of boxing's number one champions returns to the ring. That's right ladies and gentlemen, our heavyweight champion returns to the ring after 15 years of absence. <\/span><\/p>\n

Since a few days ago, our unstoppable Mike Tyson has started training continuously for his return to the ring. Since his announcement, he has not stopped receiving offers to fight, among them is the desire of one of his oldest rivals Evander Holyfield. Believe it or not, Mike Tyson wasn't the only one determined to return to active boxing. <\/span><\/p>\n

After Mike Tyson's announcement, Holyfield, one of his most historic rivals, announced in a video that he would also return to the ring. <\/span><\/p>\n

Maybe many remember the most important moment in the history of boxing or others do not, but let's do a little memory as these legends deserve to be remembered. Both heavyweight champions had two encounters in the ring in 1996 and 1997, being the second one one of the most remembered due to the action performed by Mike Tyson in the ring when he bit Evander Holyfield's left ear, an action that cost him the disqualification being Holyfield the winner. <\/span><\/p>\n

But apparently, that would not be their only and last meeting as these two incredible heavyweight champions would have their third meeting in the ring on June 11 in Arabia, despite the excitement of their fans, this meeting has not yet been confirmed by official entities therefore, so far, we only have rumors and a poster that would be roaming the social networks announcing the great meeting expected by all fans, both Mike Tyson and Evander Holyfield. <\/span><\/p>\n

A bit of history <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Due to this surprising appearance of Mike Tyson, we thought it would be an excellent demonstration of our support for our champion to tell a little of his story from his beginnings to the present day. Therefore, let's start by mentioning the era in which our incredible boxer was born. <\/span><\/p>\n

On June 30, 1966 the world brings us our boxing star Mike Tyson, but since his arrival, the life of our champion would not be easy, especially in his youth. After many years and after the loss of his mother, Mike Tyson began to commit a series of thefts and robberies that led him to be interned in a reform school. But all was not lost for little Tyson, during his years in reform school, Mike met boxer and manager Cus D'Amato who took charge of the young man and became one of his tutors. This meeting would be the beginning of Mike Tyson's boxing career.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1980, his life began to change, his boxing career was transformed until 1985, when he went from amateur to professional thanks to his 14 fights won and in 1987, he won the World Boxing Association title. <\/span>Boxing Association (WBA) of the International Boxing Federation.<\/p>\n

Even so, his personal life did not compare with his professional life, unfortunately, his marriage did not last long enough until they separated in 1988, the year in which he also fired his trainer who had accompanied him from the beginning. <\/span><\/p>\n

Despite all his great victories, Tyson received his first defeat in 1990 when he lost his heavyweight title to James Buster Douglas, at that time, a boxer with only three years of experience. After this fall, the following years of Mike Tyson were not at all pleasant. <\/span><\/p>\n

In 1992 Mike Tyson is accused of the rape of a young model, for which he was sentenced to prison. This event would transform his life completely, one of these events was his change of religion, which he himself affirms, from being a Catholic he changed to the Islamic religion, this great change made him see things differently. But it didn't end here, after his change of religion, Mike Tyson found an entertainment that would become a habit, reading. <\/span><\/p>\n

During his years in prison, Tyson began to become fond of reading and even read books by Ernest Hemingway (20th century novelist). In addition to this, he also mentions that he was not only dedicated to reading but also that he had a \"sex marathon\", something that kept him constantly in his cell due to fatigue. <\/span><\/p>\n

A book to read \"The Undisputed Truth\".<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Although we have only mentioned a part of Mike Tyson's life, his autobiographical book entitled \"The Undisputed Truth\" does not cease to amaze us at every moment. It mentions many other events that were present during his prison years. After his long prison term, Tyson's professional career continued on its course.<\/span><\/p>\n

In 1995 Mike Tyson was released for good behavior and returned to boxing to regain his heavyweight title lost in 1990, which he regained again in 1996 returning to be the world champion but his streak does not last long enough, that same year he had his first meeting with his rival Evander Holyfield. Unfortunately he lost against him, but this would not stay that way since they met again in 1997 where the title was at stake. <\/span><\/p>\n

But, due to his behavior and after biting Holyfield's left ear during the fight, Mike Tyson is disqualified for an unsportsmanlike action and loses his title completely. After this devastating encounter, the luck of our star boxer was diminishing until he fought again for the world title against Lemox Lewis, a British boxer, with whom he was defeated. <\/span><\/p>\n

Although he continued with his fights, it was no longer the same and Mike Tyson retires 3 years after the fight with Lewis... UNTIL A FEW DAYS AGO.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our champion returns to the ring<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Since the beginning of this incredible news, you must be excited and surprised as we are about the return of our champion of the ring and you may be wondering why this surprising decision. This decision made by Tyson himself is due to the victims of the Coronavirus. Recently, it was announced that Mike Tyson will hold at least 3 or 4 charity fights to raise money to help the victims of the virus who are suffering in these difficult times.<\/span><\/p>\n

This appearance was one of the most praised and supported by his peers as well as by U.S. President Donald Trump and especially by Mexican-American boxer Oscar de la Hoya. <\/span><\/p>\n

It still has a lot to give <\/strong><\/h2>\n

Even though it has been 15 years since his last appearance, with his return to boxing, we realize that Mike Tyson still has a lot to give. We thank him for his decision to help those in need and we will always support him. <\/span><\/p>\n
